Su-Mei Tse was born in Luxembourg in 1973 and currently lives and works in Luxembourg and Berlin. In 2009 Tse was awarded the Fondation Prince Pierre de Monaco Prize for Contemporary Art, and in 2003 Tse represented Luxembourg at the Venice Biennale, where she was awarded the Golden Lion.
