Tim Lee was born in Seoul in 1975 and currently lives and works in Vancouver and Berlin. He received a Bachelor of Design at the University of Alberta in 1999 and an M.F.A. at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver in 2002. He is a recipient of the 2008 Sobey Art Foundation Award.
